Hey everyone,
I was wondering if any one could help me figure out what is the best inline reg on the market, and the best Inline reg for your money?

SIDEWINDER!! imo i think the sidewinder is the best reg on the market, great consistency and flow, made to perform great at lower pressures (like a timmi). other nice regs are max flows, stabalizers, gladiators . . . but i would go for a sidewinder.

Sidewinder, it's expensive, but definately the best upgrade I've put on my intimidator

In my opinion, the gen x 2 is outdated, and overpriced. It's just a standard unireg design, and yet it's priced at the top end of the spectrum. You'd do much better to take the amount of money a genx would cost, and put that towards a different reg, such as the palmers, sidewidner, or maxflow inline

i only have the choice between the gen x 2 or the max flo and i dont have a job so the extra 30 bucks is the part i dont like but will it really make that much of a difference? i mean is the output consistency of the ans any good?

I hear Bob Longs reg is pretty decent. ITs cheap too. Most players use a Gladiator or a Sidewinder on timmys. A few use Stabalizers.

If there are two you should be choosing from, they are Bob's new Reg and a Palmer Stab.
Jim at Paintballkingdom reports great consistency and good flow during testing of Bob's inline.
I've never shot Bob's reg, but I use the Stab. Again, great consistency and good flow. Neil Penney at MTN swears by it. You should have Z-E-R-O problems with it.
If I were you, I'd e-mail Jim here: Jim's E-Mail (smoke@paintballkingdom.com) and see what he says. He'll probably recommend Bob's reg.
Good luck. :)

I have a Bob Long Inline reg. I used it in a pretty big tournament this weekend. I was playing at the Canadian National Speedball Championships. We were playing in Master's which is the top level at the tourney. I had it on my Timmy. Not one hot gun penalty. The limit was a slow 275fps. I chronoed in for 270fps. The highest was 273. The lowest was 268. That was throughout the entire two days of play.
The point being here, I would highly reccomend the Bob Long Inline reg to anyone looking for a new reg. Ground Zero even has them on their new timmy's. Expect Bob's Team to be using them next year as well.
