I just got a new B2K4 pds with a freestyle reg and I was wonderin about what output pressure ill need in a tank. I want a crossfire 45/4500 but should I get red or blue reg? Only reply if youre positive which will work best. Thanks.

either type of tank will work. a HP will work with just about any marker so its pretty versatile and is a pretty nice thing to have around. a LP tank will make for a more consistant marker but can't be used by some guns because their operating pressure is too high.

in summary: get a LP tank

Ya low pressure gun get a LP. Thats what i use, but make sure you get a tank with good recharge. I use pmi and crossfire, ramping and no shootdown :) .

I work on these guns alot, and there is no considerable difference in a high or low pressure tank, but you MUST have a 220 psi difference between the tank and the verticle reg in order to make the flow rate consistant, other wise you'll run into shot down every 5th shot or so, I have a HP running into my 2k4 b2k, my macdev sonic and my bonebrake bushies, I would recommend changing out the verticle regulator before considering the tank, but if you have already changed it and have moved onto a new tank go with a high pressure and you wont run into any air problem(depending which reg you are using, bonebrake suggests a CP, I have two cp's and a sidewinder) but watch out for upgrading your bushies too much, if you put too many after market parts on and are able to run your bushy at 180 psi, then you've turned it into a gas hog, this is a common problem with LP tanks, they support this trend. But if you do get a LP tank, don't sell your self short, get an adjustable and set your regs and reg:250 and the tank:625. The standard input pressure for a hp tank is 800psi and some companies have 850psi, a low pressure tank is 500psi to 550psi that extra 75-125psi does make a noticeble difference on highly upgraded bushies. but to sum up what i just said, get an HP or adjustable
