Moding a Pro Custom?

Recently I picked up a Tippman Pro Custom and have been pleased with the way the guns been firing but, I'm looking into getting an E grip for my gun but was told by different people that an E grip won't fit on an Pro Custom unless it already came with it? I was told that the response trigger fits but not the E grip? Is this true?

I don't know what they're thinking because the Custom Pro e-grip is a drop-in kit for those without it. Add it to your gun whenever you feel like it.

So when I buy the E grip, I buy one for a 98 Custom or for the Pro Custom. It sounds like it obvious answer but I haven't had much luck finding one for the Pro Custom. Also, whats the advantages of the E grip compared to the response trigger.

There is only one E-grip and it fits the Custom Pro without modification. The 98c will also accept the E-grip, but not before modding or buying Custom Pro receiver halves.
