Well, i own a piranha pro and i was looking at buy the boo-yaah elcd frame for about 250$....i'm sure i can find it cheaper but anyway, if anyone here owns one, i would like to know if it is worth it? was it easy to install? does it enhance your gun that much? I was thinking about saving for a WGP autococker or go with some upgrades for my piranha, such as elcd, remote, pmi pure energy, and smart parts 14" all american barrel, and 9v hopper. Any sugestions would be appreciated, thanks

My local shop has one hooked up to a spyder. The trigger pull on it is sooooo sweet. You tap the trigger and it fires. No effort needed. That's just semi mode. You also have a burst and auto mode, which is just insane.
I think there great, but I don't want to spend $250 on one. I'll wait for them to come down in price a bit.

what sucks is you need an electric hopper to use an elcd

my friend has a compact 2000 with 12 progressive, ACI 6 stage X chamber, 12volt revy, and the ELCD frame.

This trigger frame amazed me at first...

The trigger pull is VERY VERY VERY short! the slightest touch and it fires! it is extremely sensitive!

semi, burst, and full auto modes of fire. when firing burst, if you pull the trigger twice within the same second the gun switches to full auto. for maximum pleasure you should buy a 12volt revy! if you do not, you will be chopping paint like mad! even the 12volt revy has a hard time keeping up with the trigger. To me the trigger is a bit uncomfortable, and the double trigger is wider and uncomfortable, but that is my personal opinion. When I played against my friend i noticed that yes, the gun fires really fast but if you are using a Co2 set-up, i really really recomend that you get a regulator to get a much better shot to shot consistency. He went through a lot of paint trying to hit me. I was kneeling in a open spot and i was a easy target. but because he was running Co2 with out a reg his shots were flying every where except at me (hence the draw back to using Co2!) I took him out with one shot still kneeling in the open.

so if you can get a reg with that trigger, then that would make a real big difference. don't forget the revy too

Thanks for the help....this will make my decision much easier. I think i'm going to get it. I knew you had to buy a electric hopper but i was considering the 9V, but i think i'll fork out the extra cash for the 12V. thanks

goto http://www.thepaintballstore.com and look under weekly specials. I think the elcd for spyder is like $230.00. But since its under weekly specials the shipping is free. not that i have an ELCD (I have no $$$) but just that I wanted to help you all out. :D :D
