I just recieved my ICD B2k 2004 w/PDS and I've been looking to exchange my co2 for a nitro tank. I've done quite a bit of research and have come down to two cheap (less than $100, yes I'm poor) nitro tanks. I've heard that the Bushmaster is a "gas guzzler" and was wondering which would basically be better overall ( as in shots per fill, consistency, ball drop and what not.)

- A Crossfire?
- a PMI?
Please dont waste your time suggesting that I buy any other tank. And I couldnt find a search button so don't flame me.
Thanks again.

the only difference between these two tanks is the preset regulator. The Crossfire has shown in tests to have the best performing preset regulator on the market, so that would be the better choice. you'll see the same shot count etc with both tanks, the only difference is the Crossfire reg recharges faster.

Is there even a comparison? PMI is just pure ****. Crossfire is straight.

Well thanks for the feedback but I'm gonna give it a few more days to make sure it is the SURE thing to do. But if I had to choose now....definitly a Crossfire.

there is nothing wrong with a PMI tank. Its just that Crossfore has a faster recharge rate, therefor there will be less shootdown. I have a PMI and I rarely ever get shootdown on my marker. The only time I get it is when I am really low on air and I am firing as fast as I can, but no tank will be able to help you with this.....

yeah theres nothing really wrong with PMI tanks, and the risk of drop-off really has more to do with your inline than your tank, but Crossfire tanks just have better recharge. So if you can get something better for less money, as you can with crossfire, then go for it. then agian im drunk right now so if this makes no sense whatever, i'll try and give some bettre advicd in the morning.

There is nothing wrong with PMI tanks, but the Crossfire ones are better. My PMI tank works great though.
