i just recently made a pull through sqeegie out of a hex nut, a string and a bunch of rag scraps, instructions
1. cut rag into even pieces, 1 in wide 5 in long, about 6 of those.
2. measure string into length of barrel, times 3, and then about 6 inches.
3. triple over string , just fold it in thirds, then tie the scraps onto end tightly, then tie on the hex nut. works with any kind of nut, or small washer, try it, its cheaper than a normal squeegie, and it works just as fine and dont forget the wieght on the end. good luck!! ^_^
