Backyard Paintball?

Anyone know the laws in california? can you play in y our backyard? whats the fine or whatever if you are cauht shooting a paintgun?

Im not sure what the law is but i play in my back yard as long as you dont hit a house i dont think any one will really care BUT start hitting houses then ya ...:D

alright, i was sure... it wouldn't b my backyard, but some of my friends have some nice places that might work alright...

im not sure about the laws in your town, but i know that in Napa, my town, you're not alowed to shoot any fire arms within city limits. and the cop that talked to me about playing in my yard said that a paintball gun is considered a firearm.

hmm... the definiton of firearm is a gun-powder powered weapon... i dont know if im correct, but i think thats what it is... no gun-poweder in mine... thanks for the help though

Back in the day when i played backyard ball i played in folsom, CA and EDH, CA and the cops came almost everytime to make sure we werent shooting "laser guns" or something, then they said, it's cool just dont shoot houses, signs, animals or piss people off.

Actually a paintball marker isn't a firearm.

At least not in canada.

The legal definition is "a barreled object used to discharge a projectile".

Then there's some crock about how much energy and how fast.

So as long as it's under like 400 or so fps, it's not a firearm.

again, this is canadian stuff, but it may help.

who gives a **** if you get caught then stop playing dont be a scared little ***** keep playing until someone *****es if the cops come there not gonna arrest you they probably will just say to stop playing thats what they did to me.

i play over at my friends house. its kinda out in the middle of nowhere so no one cares. there is only like 5 houses where he lives and u have to take a long *** dirt road to get there. we've got 2 fields to play on. ones a small speedball course for 3 vs 3 and the other one is in the process but it should be good for 6 on 6 or 7 on 7
