Smart Parts Big Daddy

Who knows anything about this barrel and how well it works with a 98c. Also since it is a two piece, can I buy the half that connects to the gun separetly for another gun latter on without having to buy the whole barrel again. How does it compare with the all american. Is the big daddy riffled?

I'm in the same shoes you are. I'm on the brink of buying one for my custom 98. This is what I have researched on it so far.
Yes, it is riffled. Compared to the all-american it is almost the same except diffrent riffing. Accuracy and range might be a little better than the all-american but opinions vary widely between people. Don't go for the 16 inch barrel only 12 or 14. Sorry, can't help you with the ability to work for another gun. Overall, it is right up there with the lapco bigshot on accuracy but much much quieter. I have found it for only $65 brand new.

Dude that might be the teardrop for $65. The big daddy is about $110 average. I am using mine for my 98c. If it really is $65 tell me where that is a deal.
It is a cool barrel. I am going to call smart parts tommorow to find out some more on the barrel.

No, it's the big daddy not tear drop. Try www.firstcallpaintball.com supposidly they sell it for $64(according to another forum) I am having trouble getting to the site. If you can't get to it either drop me an email and I'll give you the info on the place thats selling it for $65.

It only sells the 16 and 18 inch which I just think is a gimic cus I think the 12 inch is all anybody really needs. Eventhough $64 is a really good deal. Well thanks anyways it would have been a bargain if I was a "sniper" but all I need is a 12 incher. There is a site that is the cheapes I've found them for 104. I am at work right now, I have the address at home I'll send it to you if you are still interested on one like I am.
