saftety, then sportsmanship, and team work. Safety is a must, becasue paintball is not a game to hurt people. Sportsmanship is a mucst uin any competition, and teamwork is alsoe great. What i hate about paintball is people who care more about there on kills then there team. Its more importnat that ur tema wins then u get all the kills. I have a qeustion though, why did u name this poll the future of paintball, when the question is the most importnat aspects of paintball?

Safety is important but the main objective in paintball is to have fun, and safety is a major factor in that. if people played at 400 fps with no shirt or goggs no1 would have fun because everybody would be bloody and blind. but think, paintball wouldn't be worth playing if you had to be 50 feet away to shoot some one and your velocity was at 200 and you had to laub balls to hit the person.

At 400 fps you'd still be blind, mask lens. rated at 350 fps.And Pain at that speed going too give you a lot of donuts marks all over your body.

400 would break the skin no prob, forget welts. you'd have huge black bloody cirlces, thats why safety is important to have fun.

yea i got shot by a guy w/ a tipp98 in the back from 5 ft. away w/ way above legal pressure (bad thing he was on my team) and through a sweat shirt and shirt it made a big bloody welt thingy that stayed there for almost 3 weeks

safety is important, but it is strickly enforced so there isnt a nedd to worry about it. sportsmanship is the most importnat for the future of newbies. If youre playin with total newbies, dont wreck em up, take 2 mabey 3 shots if youre flanking or anything, aim at the chest and if you miss and he gets away, goo for him. hell prb like the sport more and play again. If you go up behind him, and shoot ten shots st him to make sure of the kill, you could hit him with all ten. theres no way hell play aagin (freakin out newbies is the worst for future of pball). That happeneed to me my first game and i almost quit. I played the rest of the day and the guy made sure no t to do stuff like that and when we were on the same team (walk on game) he paired himself up with me and made sure i stayed alive-helped me out, so i stayed with it. newbies are the most importnat people. although you can, if you lace into every kid with a rental gun, this sport is gonna die fast....

Safety is first, and then fun. If it wasn't fun, nobody would play it.

Thanks gang! You have restored my faith in the paintball community. This whole thing was prompted by a Gogging post. I'm glad to see that there are many folks out there with the right idea.

Let's spread the word! Paintball needs to be the number 1 Xtreme sport!

Sportsmanship is the most important by far!!* What does safety matter if some guy comes up to u after the game and gives u a nice slug for markin him?!! I've seen it happen..
