OK. Im doing a science fair project on the accuracy of certain paintballs and I would just like you guys to post any facts you know about paintball. I have to do 75 notecards with facts on them:( . and I need help.
Thanks!

Paint to barrel match is the deciding factor.

Usually the more expensive the paint, the more "reliable" it is. Paint is affected by humidity, shell shape, scratches, ect.
It's just as much about the barrel as it is about the paintball though.

Get facts from a physics book with the effect of velocity on accuracy and things like that. Maybe size and velocity relationship. That way you can tie the bore of a paintball to the velocity, thus giving you accuracy.

Make sure you use an Autococker.
Hahaha jk :dodgy:

Can't forget the "big bore" theory.

One Example: Blue Streak vs. Premiums. Yeah.

Never use seconds, or thirds. :dodgy:

Paint to barrel match is the deciding factor.
...along with like 10 other variables

talk about how unregulated air is less acurate than a low pressure regulated consistant air

 Consistency is by far the most important aspect to accuracy with paintballs, nothing even comes close, including paint to barrel match. As long as your paintballs are a smaller bore than you're barrel, it's fine. (To a certain extent, of course)

well one thing you could do to keep it scientific would be to fire a burst of say ten shots at a target so many feet away. Make sure to keep the gun steady ie make some sort of stand to hold it. then take your shots an equal interval apart and measure the pattern. It's not that big on theory but it would be interesting to do and explaining it would fill a few note cards.

you could do that with a spyder and a high end gun and show the difference in accuracy to prove that the more money it is the better ittl soot

Wow, its like my Science project last year..." Does the bore size of a barrel affect the accuracy of a paintball marker"
and yes it does...

this year i'm doing, "does paintball fragility affect accuracy?"
