My "thingy"(?) is set based entirely on what my chrono tells me to adjust it too. That's why ideally each of you should have a chrono available to you for not only adjusting your Imps to maximum performance, But! The most important reason SAFETY! Nothing ends a fun day of paintballing quicker than someone getting hurt seriously with an mask breaking/eye injury from a hot marker!

Ok, as a future Impulse owner ... what is dwell, and what does it do?

the dwell is the amount of time the valve stays open to let air in! :)

To set the dwell, set the pressure to 170-180 psi, and use the dwell pot (the little adjuster thingy) to adjust the velocity.

Speaking of this, I really hate how flimsy the dwell adjustment pots are. I mean I've seen a couple where they've been broken off because your trying to adjust a little pot with a screwdriver while holding a moderately weighted gun and shot it over the chrono? Advice for SP, make something that keeps you from bending the dwell pot over with your screwdriver and it will save on bad boards ok?
