Hi, Im going to buy my first Nitro Tank for my 98, what size/pressure would be the best to get to run off of the 98 Custom? Im not going to get the low pressure kit for it.
Thanks.

I'd get a 68 steel tank. It is like the tippmann rugged, and dependable. The weight difference between fw and steel is only around a pound, the durability is well worth the weight. It will give you around 700 shots per fill.

A 68/3000 PSI steel tank would be a good choice. You don't have to worry about damage as much as you would with a fiber tank, and they are only a little bit heavier. the general rule of thumb is that at 3000psi you get about 10 shots per ci, and at 4500 psi, you will get about 15 shots per ci. with a 68/3K tank you will get about 700 shots + or - depending on marker setup.

You'll also want a good secondary regulator with that setup. Air America Vigilante regs are very consistent with very high flow rates and very quick recharge. I would suggest either one of those (LP version) or the Tippmann secondary reg. Either one's going to work great a a decent price for a nice reg.

I have a 68/3000 Me'lee preset tank with a WGP Regulator (The stock reg found on autocockers).
The setup that I have seems to work well, altho I have had a few minor problems.
