Pimp or Promaster?

okay I have never seen a thread on this before so I thought I would be the first to ask

I am saving for a Higher end marker that I will probly get around christmas, and I am trying to decide whether I should get an evil pimp or a ICD promaster.

I can get a refurb pimp for $400 or a new promaster for $389 so which one?

promaster i hate the feel of pimp promaster are fast reliable so are the pimps dont get me rong but they have a odd feel to me and ive seen many come new and they have alotta scratches on them for sum reason... soo shoot them b4 u buy thats me 2 cents;)

but there has been a couple threads on this.

You can get NIB pimps off like pbn for 400. I personally say pimp since i own one, and know atleast 100 other people with them, and we have no problems plus they perform great. Buy a 400 dollar gun that doesnt need ups for a almost 400 dollar guns that does... basically its preference if u want a slightly different design, and lighter weight or not.

I don't recommend buying ICD guns. 2 of my friends bought BKO's and both of their regs just randomly stopped working a couple weeks ago. It was only the second time they had used them

I don't think there will be a 7th time. One of them might buy an Ion, and I'm not sure what the other one is going to do.

I've never really been an advocate of ICD after hearing some horror stores from Rob about their QC. I don't really like Pimp's either. If you have about 500, look into the D2 or a used proto matrix, both I'd say are better.

the promaster offers more bang for your buck over a ghetto pimp IMO. the cheapest you're going to find a NIB ghetto pimp for is $500 and a promaster for $350. even with ups to match a pimp the promaster will still be a better buy. it still boils down to prefrence. of you like the promaster then get it, if not get the pimp.

pimp > promaster. the pimp's a better performer but promaster but the is the better buy.

I am have my doubts about both brands, icd because they have horrible luck with regs, as someone already said (my friend used his 2bk twice and it just stopped working) and the pimp isn't as popular and I have never seen one in real life. The price really isn't a difference because I would need a asa/drop and macro for the promaster which = it all out.

I would really prefer buying a marker from a regular store or rcx, because of the customer support. and I have no luck when it comes to buying used markers (and yes I do research and such)

I want to start up a pimp service business... considering theres atleast 100 ppl around here with them. Only guns id take over the pimp is a cyborg and ego due to lighter and more efficient.
