i have a palmer nasty houndstooth that i am possibly going to part with

it was concieved in early 99 and has only had one owner. it has the origional battle grips on. it is matte nickle not polished nickle.

i may consider patial trades but must be highly to my advantage

i really don't want to part with her but i am hard up for cash

so 600 plus ship is the lowest i will go on this piece of art

for those unfamiliar with palmers it is esentially all nickle plated brass goodness

it is also esentially a double barrel pump shotgun in its own rights and yes people do run from it as it sounds like a cannon going off. people on the other end of the field duck when i touch it off.

well i have had several trades offered including asystem x based e cocker, a carter comp or a punisher p68 convertable with cf, vf and spring feed adapters as well as 12 gram or constant air adapter and so on ... just not looking for straight up trades

here are a few pics. i put an old 12 ounce on it to show you the orientation of how the tank fits in the expansion chamber. it also has a larger set of 99 cocker grips on it right now but it would be shipped with the origional battle grips

uh hate to say this, but palmer's is making those for 650 now...why would we spend 600 on a used one from 99?

well hate to tell you but you know nothing about palmers or collectability.
low number palmers have collectability this one is 112.

also you can't get battlegrips anymore and the last set i saw go on ebay sold for 50 bucks so make that 700 for one like mine

second off if you were to get a new one built by palmers you would be waiting a minimum of 3 months i would imagine

also the do not make the expansion chamber with direct asa input anymore either...good luck finding one of those

well if i did something like that i certainly would not ship untill paid in full but hey you never know. what you got in mind?

as far as telling that jerk off he does have a point but only to a point...

you can buy a brand new palmer nasty hounds tooth for around 650 but then you pay shipping and at the weight these are at that is like 10 buck or more .

to buy a set of old and hard to come by battle grips you would be looking at 40 to 50 bucks.

then there is the expansion chamber which i have not seen to many with a direct asa input so there are a few things on it that are hard to come by.

and then there are the hardcore palmerfarians who pay for the low numbers.

and i am not in a real hurry to get rid of it since i don't really want to in the first place but such is life sometimes...just makes it easier to find an excuse not to sell it sometimes though i think.:laugh:
