i've shot both an angel and a shocker. and from wat i can tell a shocker is a much better gun. When i was playing with both i saw that the angel gets not a lot of distance and has very little accuracy. while with the shocker it was the opposite. My friends tell me that if i buy a better barrel for a angel it helps but i don't wanna spend extra money on something i don't need if i buy a stock shocker. Also shockers are much cheaper and i can put a angel trigger on it and get the angel pull and the distance and accuracy for about two hundred dollars cheaper. So wat is better the angel or the shocker?

Its personal preference. Ive shot each gun and the only differences are that the shocker has more accuracy, and the angel is a lot smaller and more comfortable. And yes the accuracy can be helped by having a better barrel, but the accuracy difference between the guns isnt that much to begin with from what ive seen.

Are you a back or front player? If you are a back guy, get the Shocker. You will appreciate the long-range accuracy and the consistancy of the Max-Flow. If you play up front, the Angel is the thing to buy. It's lighter, faster, and easier to snap shoot with, whereas the Shocker is a lot heavier.

OK I own both so I'll try to help. I played forever with a shocker turbo, but it was a dome switch=slow gun. I upgraded to angel frame and microswitch conversion and way helped. Biggest complaint, gets really heavy (VERY w/4500 88ci maxflo) over the day and the stock 16" barrel is WAY To long for speedball. Mine has a 14" AA. The good part is it is way accurate, and a great longballer. I loan it to our team back player untill he buys it or something better than a spyder.

Now, my angel flat out rocks, its lighter faster and a damn good shooter. Not as far, but just as straight!!! Anyone who tells/thinks different is full of S***. Mine has the stock 12" infinity on my new Fly, and I was worried, but let me just say, that it shoots very straight. I just finished working on one, doing a trigger job (its the one that just hit 17 bps on the trigger, its posted on here) and it has a 12" boomstick and honestly it's not much better. Course I'm sure if I had more room to shoot than I do at home, it probably does longball better. JUST GET A FREAK!!! Nice thing is it will shoot down to clearly under 500 pounds (not very far) but still works. Shocker is a gas hog, angel is not.

My angel rocks, but I play front. (and I'm fat...it's amazing) But my shocker is nice too. Just comes down to what you like.

Ohh, I should note that new shockers aren't nearly as big as my 99, but still quite a bit bigger than my shocker. With a blade (planet eclipse trigger) they can rip pretty good. Hell buy an imp.

OHHH HEy Scottie!!! Didn't realize you posted on this one too!!! So those are my shockers and angels you've shot?

TEAM SBD ALL THE WAY, or is it team paint-blender? or is it

do you play front or back?

the shocker has better accuracy then an angel, i've used both. the new shocker is also not nearly as heavy as the older version, still a gas hog, but a very good marker non the less, it's great for a back player.

but on the other hand, the angel is also a very very good choice, it's lightweight, and snap shooting with this marker doesn't get any easier if you dont have an angel. accuracy isn't as great as some other markers but I love it for the simple fact that it's a great front player marker, and it has a much faster rate of fire then the shocker. well i think so at least.
