There needs to be a forum for this. Post any ideas you have of a completely new gun, how it would work, guns drawn from, etc. If you have built one, post a pic or describe how it works.
This forum should be alot of fun.

Well, I don't know if this is the same idea or not...but I make totally custom 'guns to anyones specs. Check out my site, www.custompb.cjb.net, for more info. I have 3 already thought of 'guns on there, one of which being a handbuilt, TOTALLY custom 'Cocker.

Those cockers are EXPENSIVE!!
This isn't quite what I had in mind. I had in mind a marker that is one-of-a-kind (or two or three) and not mass produced. I would especially like Ideas on paintguns that You yourself build from the bar-stock metal. You could use existing parts but I would like it to be of your own design. If you can, give a sketch of it, or just a description.
BTW, those cockers are awesome!!

AHH I think I see what your trying to do,
Basicly a closed bolt, blow back marker. its a idea, however I fear the bolt cocker is going to be easy to snap at high rates of fire.
How will you address this?
Also what about air use? it wont be able to be a low presure marker and drive all that spring and weight back to cock it again, how will this be addressed?

Very good Idea, I like it.
My mother has made a very good point, If you post your design on this thread, there is a chance that a company will take your Idea.
Not very nice but there is a chance and I wanted to give you guys fair warning.

You are right about all the spring pressure, but if it works I can use the air that drives the ram back use it to though a port to close the bolt.
As far as speed goes it should be at least as fast as a standard blow back.
If some company does come up with design I'm sure that the court system will see that I get royalties, since I went to a notary awhile back and got my idea witnessed.

Go ahead and post them, I will try to give you as much help as I can on how to improve them if need be, I could also give you the adress of the patent office if you want, after we work on the designs.
