I not sure what to get either a Smart Parts Vision Impulse or an Evil Omen 2.0. Please tell me what to get and why.

Omen 2.0, the impulse is no longer in production, and it would be silly to buy a new impulse these days. They are now the dinosaurs of the airball arena. Go with the omen 2.0 or get a wrath (it shoots beautifuly, i shoot one every day, it is fast and easy to use with the LCD screen).

Yeah, I love the feel of both the omen 2.0 and the wrath but I dont like the feel of an ion it seems kinda cheap.

yeah, the whole plastic shell thing doesn't earn any points in my book;) Personally, I would get the wrath. The design is Timmy like, while the omen is a closed bolt spyder, which is not a bad thing, but it will suffer from blow back like a normal spyder. The wraths design offers minimal kick with great efficiency, and has an LCD screen, and is capped at 20 BPS, with ramping modes and full auto. But the Omen does have the detonator reg (very good), and the driver barrel stock (very good), and is capped at 25 BPS 5 over the limit of the wrath, but in reality, who is going to shoot that fast?. The Omen does not offer ramping or auto, or a clamping feed neck, or eyes for that matter. While the omen has a cam feed, the wrath has eyes. The eyes on the wrath are nothing to boast about (they are not WAS) but they get the job done. The cam feed can jam, and it happened to a person I was playing with in person, and it was very messy and hard to clean. I would have eyes, the cam feed is not common enough for every day use. For weight, the wrath is a featherweight, while the omen is rather heavy (not an impusle heavy, but bulky spyder heavy). in the end, it does come down to opinion and reviewing the facts. Me I would go for the wrath, its great and easy to fix clean,a nd its speedy. But thats me, hope ive helped :)

Its not plastic. Now on topic, the Wrath would be better than the omen.

Dude slaminator your cool but, your always against the omen. The omen isnt bad 25 bps. Has a closed bolt(a rumor that is supposed to make it more accurate which is probalby not true). Has the evil detonator which yes believe or not a very good regulator means very good accuracy. If you tune it perfect and get the new omen trigger it is super easy to walk. Slaminator, I know it doesnt matter that it shoots faster because tournaments are unfortuntaly capped at 15bps but it is fun to give a friend a beating every once and a while. And I dont think the omen will have problems like spyder because it is a way different blowback, a closed bolt blowback. If it does break down evil has great customer service and they will fix or get you a new gun within a week.

Ive held the wrath, its lighter i give it that, but i think its harder to walk, im not saying its cause the mone can hit 25 adn it can only hit 20 im saying the tension on it was so weird, i struggled some times to hit the 15 point mark, i dont think it was the adjustments either, well the wrath has the eyes (cheap ones not WAS) and the omen has the cam feed, people could yell at each other which ones better but they're wuite the same with breaking balls, 2.0 has a better reg a better reg, doesnt break.....by the way on www.paintballgear.ca (http://www.paintballgear.ca) (not actionvillage) i called, they said they stopped selling wraths cause too many customers sent them back broken!!! i laughed cause my friend was planning on getting one. well the wrath has a straight trigger, its smooth but not when you try to walk it, all im saying is look at the facts..

I own an Omen while my buddy owns a wrath, only thing I liked better about his wrath was the trigger. The stock omen triggers aren't that easy to walk at all, while with his I was set it at 15 bps and walked it with no problem. However that can be fixed on the omen by just getting the new trigger.
Overall, I feel the Omen is a better constructed marker. Just my opinion.
