Post up some pics of ones you've made or are going to make. Something like the blade trigger on an Intelliframe (for mags) would be awsome, I have one and it's amazing.

if you belong to pbnation i have sketches and one i did last night
i am working on 4 more pics should be up tonight

Actually, TheBetterOne is nomore. I emailed him about possibly making a trigger for my X-Mag, and he told me that he is getting out of the business.

I don't like pbnation so....ya. Post some pics here too. A trigger like the samurai on E2's is cool too. Like an up-side down blade almost.

10-18-2005, 12:57 PM
i just got my tbo trigger less than a month ago...and he didn't seem that he liked his job very much :P

It seems like you cut your delrin with a bandsaw. Don't get me wrong...you could do a much better job at making triggers than I could, but tbo triggers look a lot smoother than yours.

dayward
10-18-2005, 01:34 PM
those are just quick examples
i havent started making the real thing yet
i dont have the delrin or bearings
i want to see if people would be interested b4 i buy abunch of stuff
these examples wewe made out of 1/4 acrylic w/ only a grinder
when i get the delrin it will be3/8 and i will ginish sand and polish to gloss finish not just a grinder
thanks for comments
keep them comming

I was thinking the same thing, geniuses think alike... yes... we are geniuses :D

Haha....

I'm sure if you got the word around that plenty of people would be interested in buying some, depends on the price though and also the method of payment...how you gonna do the transfer? Paypal, check, etc?

dayward
10-18-2005, 03:26 PM
paypal 15-20 depending on trigger adjustments and if its a really hard shape
prob 15 tho
how else should i get the work around

That one looks pretty cool. Are you planning on making any for other markers besides the TES?

dayward
10-18-2005, 05:03 PM
maybe b2k4
i think tes works on m3
if someone could send me detailed enough pics or a trigger to see where the contact points are i prob could make other styles

pbrascal37
10-18-2005, 06:07 PM
I could probly send you a spyder frame w/ a switch in it (no other internals) so you can make them for something in return...

or not whatever I am always happy to help a brutha out lol

dayward
10-18-2005, 06:18 PM
that would be great
do you have an extra trigger so i know what general shape it needs
or can you send a prototype or sketch with it
in return i could give you a trigger or two
did u see th new triggers
what do you think
thanks for everything all of you
if people talk to me on aim so i can be sure ill have some customers
ill start making triggers aim daywardtes

Tonite if I get bored I'll sketch a few and pm it to you in the morning, I don't got much else to do after I get home from martial arts class. And can't you die delron? Like buy white delron and make it blue/red etc.?

dayward
10-20-2005, 12:02 PM
i think you can im not 100% sure tho
i was planning on just doing black delrin
i think if you dye it it isct very dark so it would be pinkish and light blue
if you guys want me to get white and dye it i can i just dont think it will look that good

send me some ideas

Paintball=life
10-21-2005, 11:41 AM
What are those made of? They arn't real smooth looking. Plus some of those triggers u won't have that much room for ur fingers. Like when running u'll be hitting the trigger

dayward
10-21-2005, 11:54 AM
the prototypes are acryllic
i have alread said these are prototypes and therefore yes they are rough
they are quick examples to show designs
the real thing will be black delrin and polished with smooth edges
i will be doing a fish hook one
a snake one
and a SWEET double trigger
any other ideas

Paintball=life
10-21-2005, 11:59 AM
U could try the design of the trigger of this gun- http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=rUxD7tl4vk9Dlpoh6zqDRtOx5X_HbkJ6w98=?Pro ductID=5X3AqArbI5cAAAEETnuiCxpb#

i have a b2k4-same trigger style as freestyle
i really like it
the new snake trigger will look some what like that
same feel at least

Click to see the trigger well.
Yes, that is my mag. And that trigger is just amazing, I will never get anything else.

pbrascal37
10-22-2005, 04:21 AM
well pm me about getting that frame dayward

I like the look of that one at the top of the last page but it seems kinda impractical but many triggers that seem like that can turn out to be awesome

you should take a look at the omen triggers I have always taken a likeing to those.

trailer_trash
10-22-2005, 05:40 AM
would like one for my 02
no need for roller bearing just want a nice smooth finish and shaped like the one that is second from the right in the first pic in post #11

trailer_trash
10-22-2005, 05:57 AM
maybe something like this
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y76/penny_wisdom/trig2.jpg
that way it's like you are walking the trigger upside down
I shot an alias with one of these swoop triggers and it was fast!
(like all timmies) but easy to walk in that position IMO

dayward
10-22-2005, 07:38 AM
pbrascal if you could mail me a couple of trigger designs/templates on paper that will work for the spider then i can just make them instead of you sending me a frame i looked at the omen triggers i hate the last curve on the bottom

i have a sythe trigger on my b2k4 look that up on google they are cool and easy to walk
im doing a fishook one today that is curved but not that much
trailertrash when i get the materials i can make you one w/out bearings just dont have delrin yet that trigger looks kind of fat it just looks a little wierd for some reason i will do it for you if you want to buy it but not for a prototype

remember i can do any trigger you want to buy but i dont have the delrin yet
im just using acrylic
when you buy the trigger i will do anything you want
but some of the designs i dont want to do for prototypes because i will be keeping them
what do you think of my last trigger bottom last page
any other ideas

Paintball=life
10-22-2005, 09:49 AM
On ur "Best" one maybe if u made it more smooth instead of the 2finger things i would like it better

dayward
10-22-2005, 09:57 AM
anythings possible
remember these are just examples
i was combining ideas that people wanted on pbnation

trailer_trash
10-22-2005, 10:29 AM
yeah I messed it up a little
but stretch it out and viola

dayward
10-22-2005, 10:40 AM
can you think of any other designs you would like to see

trailer_trash
10-22-2005, 10:47 AM
like someone said before the one on the indian creek FS-7

pbrascal37
10-22-2005, 11:02 AM
alright i will do that and I will scan the actual frame as well to see if it will work with the trigger guard and such

dayward
10-22-2005, 12:15 PM
you could post mail me a couple life size sketches that work
or email but i dont know if it will print right size

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=10/29415333354.jpg&s=x10
what do you think

pbrascal37
10-22-2005, 12:46 PM
oooh I like the first one but it reminds me of a stingray tail more than a fish hook, How easy is it to walk?

dayward
10-22-2005, 12:56 PM
pretty easy to walk
could come forward more on bottom
would make it more fish hook like and easier to walk

pbrascal37
10-22-2005, 01:10 PM
I kinda like the way it looks now

i have always had an interest in the omens trigger but I never have had the time to make one I think I will have you make one for my project marker that has a spyder frame once I get a chance to scan and make some sketches of the frame:

dayward
10-22-2005, 06:10 PM
thats kool
i can do anything custom you want
you dont have to make it look like something else
you could make it unique
what ever you want to do
thanks for replys
keep them comming

pbrascal37
10-23-2005, 05:24 AM

do you have a pic of a trig you did that is all polished and sanded to perfection??? Do these come with magnets?(srry if you said this already)

dayward
10-23-2005, 06:31 AM
pbrascal send me a sketch of what ever you want
qhimq dont have a trigger perfectly finished yet because i dont have supplies
i wasnt planning on having them with magnets
do you know any place that has them cheap how much $ how many mags
or if you want magnets you could install them yourself

i dont know how many people really want a trigger
so i dont have the supplies
if you are really interested or cant buy it right away but still want one send me a pm so i can count how many people are truely interested
thanks

dayward
10-25-2005, 12:11 PM
i did a ocuple triggers out of polypropolyne
its amazingly strong
any one interested
do you guys want adjustments
and roller bearings
telll me what you would like to see

pbrascal37
10-25-2005, 12:55 PM
PICS!!!

roller bearing are cool and make sure it is at least adjustable rearwards via a seet screw near the switch and forwards via either the top like a spyder trigger and have it push agaist the bottom side of the frame or like the stock TES set screw and have it push right in front of the trigger against the trigger frame. the TEs way is better because you don't have to make a little ledge that goes up just for the set screw

here is the difference between the trigger on the tes (which you know what it looks like and the
spyder:

thats just how I want the one fro my project marker, it is in fact almost the exact same one I sketched up teh other day, I am on my way to make sketches of frame and such now

good job buddy, they have been gettin better every time you do em, you have really got a knack for this, have you thought about making other parts?

I think eye covers would probly be one of the best things you could think about making because only like two companies make eye covers and they are way too expensive, when they themsleves do absolutely nothing for the performance

Paintball=life
10-26-2005, 04:13 PM
I know for ONE it's like $40!!! and for the triggers could u make one that doesn't come out as far on the bottom? How much will they be?

dayward
10-26-2005, 06:56 PM
i could try eye covers thats a great idea
i dont think white would look too good
after i took the pics i used black sharpie and it absorbed it and gave the trigger a really nice smooth flat black look
the triggers are 15-20 do you want a blade like trigger draw a sketch
i dont know about eyecovers maybe 30-40 a set im not sure i dont know what all it requires
thanks great ideas
keep them comming

pbrascal37
10-27-2005, 09:52 AM
I think you could definitly make them for about 20 which is what would make people buy form you instead of hybrid, who charges 40+ they aren't exactly the most complicated things and I think you may be able to maek them farely easily but I am not sure what kind of tools it would require adn what you have. I am gonna check out some pics of eye covers and get back to you

Jenkins
10-27-2005, 11:21 AM
Looks good:tup:. I'll try and get some sketches up for ya, maybe give you some ideas, maybe over the weekend, right now all I have time for is a few posts, I'm getting ready to go hunting, gotta get my bow set up right, it already cost me a deer. Anyways nice job, keep it coming, and the eye cover thing would be great, they're always overpriced.

Paintball=life
10-27-2005, 12:05 PM
For the eye cover just use the eye cover from ur TES as a start for the Base and where to put the wholes. Then u can make them look how u want.

dayward
10-27-2005, 12:54 PM
thanks great ideas
so is it 40 each or 40 a pair
just wondering
any other ideas
thanks

pbrascal37
10-27-2005, 06:48 PM
I would sell them for 20 a piece and 35 for the pair (most people will buy the pair cuz most markers use breakbeams, not bounce beams. and as pb=life said start with tes eye covers and work your way out from there as you get more experience

it is very cool to have someone so enthusiastic about making machined parts that companies charge way too much for and you seem to be catching on to the triggers fast

jmbishop
10-27-2005, 08:20 PM
I think I'm going to be making my own trigger soon(none of downwards triggers look appealing to me so far) but feel free to use any of my designs of mine you like.http://x10.putfile.com/10/29314462844.jpg

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=11/32917313785.jpg&s=x12
now that i have the bearings i really dont see y u guys would want them
they dont help unless u have them all the way through
but i guess its better than stock cuz its not metal rubbing directly on metal
it might help a little not much tho
jmbishop would you want one of these styles or one of these triggers
people who want a trigger tell me which you like best from this pic

the paint works great
the trigger that has been drying for 3-4 days doesnt chip any more
if you dig your finger nail in really hard and pull it only makes the line where your finger was in the paint so it really just dents
it doesnt chip or scratchthe paint is a little glossier than the anno
if you rub the paint gast and hard then it kind of foggs up
but if you breath on it then rub it with a clean cloth it looks just as new

i might try grips today
i would try eyecovers but noone posted pics

any ?/comments
thanks

Well, I just got a NME, and I don't really like the trig on it.

If I was to show you detailed specs/pics/measurements could you make me a trig?

i could problably
it would be alot easier w/ a frame but your prob not willing to do that
it would be alot easier if you mailed me the exact sketches
if its a diff thickness i might not be able to use 2 roller bearings
if the trigger pin is a diff width then i woldnt have any bearings
i would also need to know where the contact points are
it would be easier if i got it really close and didnt paint it
then you finished it up when you get it
lmk

thanks

do you use white delrin? can you buy some black delrin?

The pin is the same size as the timmy pin. I won't mind that i would have to dremmel the trigger a little to fit it in. The most important part is the contact points like you said. I'll start on a diagram.

right now im using polypropolyne and painted it black
i will try to buy some delrin
if the pin is the same length and the inside of the frame is close to the same i could do 2 bearings if not then 1
when i get the pics ill let you know what we can do
thanks
