what does a gauge do?is it possible to put a gauge on Co2?if so what do you need and how do you put it on?

Yes it is, I have a gauge on my ASA where the tank screws into the marker, but you will need an ASA with the ability to accept a gauge, as not all of them have this ability.

The only thing you'll need is some loctite. Most, if not all gauges are screw-in type.

No real point in putting a Gauge on Co2. It won't tell you how much is left all it will tell you is the pressure that the co2 is exerting, which unless it's VERY low is about 830 psi. If it's low you don't need a gauge to tell you.

Good point there about the pressure, forgot to bring that up.

Thats what I used it for (My Model 98 ran about 850 PSI on Co2, now use nitrogen) and whenever the pressure went up during the day, I knew it was time to do a chrono check.
