from what i've read, alot of tournaments won't allow full auto guns (i may be wrong), but what about the tippmann model 98 with the reative trigger? i want this gun but i also want to be able to enter tournaments within a few months so if anybody can help me understand a few of the main rules that would be kickass

thanks

No tourneys allow full auto period. Is the m98 full auto? NO so it can be used

The Reactive Trigger is still Semi Automatic, although its as close as you can get to full auto with no electronics :) In my opinion at least. Anyway, the answer is YES, you can use it in tournaments.

That's one reason the Automag RT is so popular. It is as fast as electros and fully automatic guns but it is semi-auto and fully tournament legal. Some tournaments will limit the speed of your marker though (like no more than 13 bps).

The RT shoots 26 bps in a lab when pulled by a computer. A human cannot get 26 bps anyway so you dont have to worry about the gun shooting 20 bps in a tourney, hehe. Ill tell you you CAN get insane ROFs with an RT. My fave gun.

Dont get anything under 400 dollars stock to take into a tourney. Otherwise chance are 99 to 1 you will be outgunned.
