Killer Kat

Well, as many of you might not have known, I've had a Shocker with, well I hate to say it, an embarassing hiss! :| It seemed I'd have to hiss any and every time I'd gas up! My friends would say "Look! It's hissy Kat!" I was really getting a complex, plus going thru air like there was no tomorrow.
Well I'm glad to say No More! I'm now Hiss-Less! I tore the rascal apart Saturday and found the little hisser hidden in the form of a rubber block! It appears that when the solenoids are in their proper alignment with the bottom half of the (electronic side)marker apart in two pieces there are two rubber pads glued to the bottom half, the solenoid are squeezed into place with these two pads. It seems that over time these rubber pads have hardened to the point that they no longer squeezed, they squashed my solenoids with so much force, the gaskets where pushed out the sides. I replaced them with two softer pads and solved my HPA diarrhea deliriums! ;)
