an elcd grip on a spyder, pirahna, or tipman (if they make em) or any blowback gun is fu**** retarded. Theres no point. Lets say your get ot for 220. thats still 400 dollars for your gun. just get a better gun. theres no point in buying a beginers/intermediates gun and putting such an expensive upgrade on it. You sont need all those firing modes. Its a waste of money. Its liek getting nitro. stupid for a blowback in my opinion. just get a reg or x chamber or stabalizer or something. get the extra-better than the shutter I HAVE HEARD. no personal expierience, but i have had friends whose shutters have failed. x chamber is use less... anyway get the xtra but get a boomstick, better x chamber or a stabalizer or something like that, talk to some people with them, but the elcd is a waste of a butload of money. Its would be awsomee to have that, but most fields unless playin tourney dont allow anything but semi. Just ask your self, what do i want ina paintball gun: Accuracy, constant velocity, good craftsmanship, and total control of what goes on inside the gun. You do not want to shoot really really fast ( i know theres more, but its not worth it for the money) am xtra with the upgrades i listed will have these great qualites. any way i am tired....

An eLCD or Hyperframe isn't a waste of money. Sure, fields only allow semi, but then why the hell do people want Angels, Matrixs and all that shiznit? "Better gun"? Again, there's that vague word, "better." Define "better" before you say anything else. Getting nitrogen for a blowback stupid? I have something to say to you, you're stupid. Getting nitrogen makes all the difference in the world. Why don't you back up that comment hmmm? I can list reasons as to why getting nitrogen for blowbacks is great, can you list why it's a waste?
1. More consistent due to regulator on tank
2. No freezing
3. MUCH better for the regulator if you have one
4. Runs cleaner
5. If you buy your own fill station and adapter, it's cheaper to fill
Now let's see your reasons! You don't want to shoot really, really fast? Yeah... Right... Again, why do people buy Angels, Matrixs, etc.? For rate of fire! And of course, some other things...

1.get a stabalizer, reg, and other stuff can do the same thing, as i said
2.get x chamber, as i said
3.explain...im interested...dont understand..better for reg if you have a reg, or if you have a nitro....
4. cleaner???define cleaner
5. fill stations are like 500!!!!!
sorry if i sounded mad in my note, cuz you did, i just think there are more important upgrades than those two. as for why people buy angels-important and big tourneys. i dunnno, just seems kinda silly, but to each his own...

Sorry, guess I've been a bit vague too. :( Oh wells, I'll be mad if I want to. Whether or not you have a Stabilizer, if you don't agree that your gun will run more consistently on N2 than CO2, you're an idiot. Fill station equipment is not $500... Obviously you haven't gone to a scuba shop. 90cf tanks are around $135. The adapter is around $56. That's just under $200. You'll get around 3 3000psi fills, but around 12 2400psi fills. Personally I ain't gonna shoot over 3000psi in one game, so I'd fill your tank up to 2400psi. I'm not sure about 4500psi tanks though... NO!!! DON'T get an expansion chamber. Your gun will still freeze, it just keeps some liquid out. Also, it's a hassle to keep an expansion chamber and a regulator on the gun. I'd just rather get nitrogen and never look back into the world of CO2... Some regulators are pretty fragile with CO2. Take the Vigilante, Black Ice, Violator, Messiah, Pure Energy, and some others. If liquid gets into one of them, you now have a leaking P.O.S. The piston'll get bended in some cases, and you'll have to buy another one. Most people won't go through that trouble and will rather just buy another reg. Cleaner? That's exactly what I mean. Cleaner. CO2 is a "dirty" gas source. After playing for a day with CO2 and you remove all your internals, you'll see some... liquid dirt like substance.

I have yet to know of a N2 tank that'll fit into a 20oz slot... You'll have to buy another harness if you want to run a remote to the N2 tank. Or if you have huge pockets, stick it in there. :D
http://www.paintballonline.com
They have the adapter for $54.99 and 90cf tank for $139.99
How to get N2 attatched to your gun? If you have a screw-in tank, you just screw it right into the bottemline ASA. If you have one with an on/off (i.e. SP Maxflow, AGD Flatline, Centerflag Dynaflow, etc.), you attatch a hose to the hole in which the air flows out when you turn the tank "on."
