I am ordering a t-board friday for a project marker I have been working on for a while now and I can't decide which kind of eyes to get, breakbeams = more work and probly better reading but bounce = alot less work drilling etc. but not as good an eye system

what do ya'll think?

Breakbeams, spend more time for something better.

breakbeams are more reliable and worth the extra effort.

Only if you get the eyes lined up right. Bounce-beam is easier to install.

Next time search. There have been several threads on this topic, which all explain why breakbeams are a better choice over bouncebeam.

Breakbeams can read all paint, and they in general work better. Bouncebeam with Damon's logic would probably work ok, but I'd go the extra mile to get breakbeam.

Bounce beam and Breakbeam nowadays are pretty equal, I've owned 2 shockers with bounce beam and about 2 timms and an Angel with breakbeam, I've never chopped in any of those guns and I dont expect to anyday soon either.

So pretty much, bouncebeam is just as good of a choice as breakbeam.

With a Spyder? Bouncebeam. Those bodies are a ***** to drill, and I learned that the hard way, when I was trying to line up the break-beam eye system I had purchased.

If you feel very capable, then go for the breakbeams. But I would suggest NOT installing them yourself.

Only do breakbeam if you have access to a drill press and know what you're doing. Hand drilling a nearly perfectly straight hole though a body is nearly impossible, so bounce would be better in that case.

He speaks the truth.

With a press it is infintely easier since you just keep lowering the drill and its locked in position. Its worth the effort for breakbeam.

I have a drill press but I think I am gonna use bounce because now only is it easier but cheaper too I only have to buy one eye cover rather than two.

I don't think the difference will be great since damon rocks and I doubt he would produce anything that sucks so I am gonna go with the simpler choice and if i decide to later down the road I may move up to breaks

and as Jeezer high end guns use both and never chop so I am not too worried about it

Find a local machine shop to install the breaks for you. And why do I have a ad for T-Maxx parts at teh bottom of the page? I don;t even have a T-Maxx, just a Revo, Mini T and Evader. And how does google know that?

I am doing all the work on this marker myself adn am installing the eyes myself as well I am getting bouncebeams because I trust Damon makes them good enough to suit my purposes
