View Full Version : Madmann springs wrong?
hey, i have a 98 custom Pro E, and i bought a maddmann spring kit, and 2 of the springs have loops at the ends. well, neiter my sear, or trigger springs have a loop on them, theyre just straight springs......anybody know what i should do???

did you buy the madman kit for the custom? or for a different tippmann?

you should have bought the kit for the a5 not the 98. the pro has the same trigger set up as the a5(as far as i know from pics i have seen) just use a clicky pen spring.

Yea you have the 98 kit. You might want to see if you can exchange it for the A5, Custom Pro kit, or you could sell it to a buddy and just use a pen spring as hummer mentioned, it's much cheaper and just as efferctive. Be careful when replacing the sear spring though, if it's too light it won't catch the bolt in time, resulting in a double cycle and chopping.
wow, actually ive been having that problem, i was wondering where that was coming from. so a light spring, slows the catch of the bolt. that explains one of my problems. What can be used as a substitute sear spring? right now i have a pen spring, and obviously thats too lite,
