Compact 2k all the way!! Rebels r great guns, but they've got a cheap trigger frame, and almost zilch worth of an upgrade path.

A rebel Limited Edition is the way to go. The trigger is awesome the feel is better than Any ive ever held, upgrades arent neccissary, aside the aftermarket barrel. It has a sight rail, double trigger, ex chamber, low compression chamber, bottomline setup, Vertical Power feed, and takes a lot of the spyder upgrades after that. It looks cool too.

Well I mean that for the upgrade of an expantion chamber, you would pay the same for the gun as a rebel LE and it has a modified grip and body. Why waste money to get the same performance, do you see my point?

Ya i get u'r point, but in all seriousness what is the better quality gun?? I mean if he were just to buy a compact or to buy just a rebel, no upgrades which would u recomend??

Well I see your point there. I Probably would reccomend the compact then. The rebel has virtually no immidate upgrades, a sight rail is impossible with a top cocking bolt and The Compact is probably more common with dealers and upgrades, so if he dosent want to spend the extra 50 on a LE then go for the compact.

Actually im gettin a Rebel (bottomline) but then im gonna get a kit which gives it a rear cocking bolt instead of top and it also comes with a sight rail for only 45 bucks. Is that a good deal? (it also comes with some other crap) I saw it at http://www.888paintball.com outlaw can you tell me since you seem to know bout rebels?

so hows this work, you get the gum rear cocking and a sight rail/ bottomline for 145 or 45 flat? If it is 45 flat go for it, but if you wanna get it for 145 I say go for the rebel LE, Is it the Rebel Delux, cause the rebel LE and the Delux are way different. Different body, and the rebel LE has a bigger expantion chamber than the Delux, it has a Vertical power feed, less ball chopping, different grip, very nice I might add, metal double trigger, and many others, Compare at http://www.32ice.com. But if you really are aimed at the original rebel, go for the delux or the whatever one for 145. It isnt my choice. Hope it helped, oh and dont worry about callin me outlaw

The Rebels are real nice, take many spyder parts, get a Rebel.
