they are pretty much the same gun with diff shells. but the a-5 is easier to field strip. the 98 can be modified with the quick strip receiver mod to make it easier to field strip.
the a-5 also has more milsim upgrades than the 98.
im not sure on the differences between the cyclones

A5-better flatline barrel, egrip avalible, JCS trigger for egrip
98c-cheaper, thats about it.

A-5: Built-in VA, easier field strip, better Flatline.
*Custom Pro: 2X trigger, drop forward, better barrel, E-bolt available.

might as well get a new A-5 cause a 98c+cyclone is not that much cheaper.. I have a 98c and love it.. but it is a pain to take apart and put back together if the a-5 atleast performs as well as a 98c (since I've never used one I don't know) and is easier to strip and mod, might as well get that.. but my 98c is pimp with the cyclone and R/T...

The valve on the 98's cyclone is built too powerful though. Many people are having problems with the cyclone chopping to the powerful valve. A less powerful valve is going to be released soon. It will be like $7 or something.

I went with the Custom Pro E with cyclone feed and love it. Double trigger was a big decision for me.
The A-5 is easier to field strip and has a different name that is about it... both great guns!
