and anyways.. why couldnt i just buy a 800psi output tank and use that? ( I allready bought the 450 psi output tank)

yeah, it will work fine. you just need a gas-thru foregrip because its a low enough pressure to run to your stock HP reg.

The new 450 psi tank was made for Bob to put on the Timmys. The maker talked to Bob to find out what the "best" pressure output would be for the Timmy and this is the results.

We sell a Crossfire 68/4500 with an output pressure of 450psi. However, they've been backordered for quite a while now. Just today I found out that ACI makes the new Bulldog nitro tank in a 68/3000 version with 450psi output. I ordered some and should have them in about a week. Just glad to know there are alternatives since Crossfire is backordered.

And to answer the second part of the original post, 800psi is a bit much for the marker. While it may seem to work fine for a while, there's a chance of blowing out some of the seals at 800. Best to reg it down below 500psi before entering the gun.

I'm still waiting for Crossfire to send them to Mike :(
I wouldn't get an ACI bulldog though, I've never seen ACI as the most trustful company. so I've heard that the bulldogs are not that great regulators, and compared to Crossfire regs I'll get a crossfire the recharge rate of those tanks is awesome the gauge (in the DF) doesn't even move, I've seen them in action, they are just great.

It's true the original Bulldog tanks had some problems. Apparently those are all corrected with the new Bulldog II though. I'll test one when they come in to make sure it's true. The specs on the Bulldog II are pretty impressive though.

well tell me how it goes, I might get one of those if it works fine, but I still have my doubts. BWT I just got a reply from Chris Havlock of Crossfire and he sent me this:

"...Luis, it should not be longer than 2 weeks. I would hate for you to get a
product that is not proven..."

Let's see who gets the best rate, how much will the new bulldogs cost?

I'm not sure what the Bulldog prices will be. The ACI rep told me my wholesale price when I was ordering and it sounded pretty good, but now I don't remember exactly what it was. Once I get them and see the invoice, I'll get them added to my site with the retail prices. Thank you.

I thought that the Timmi still needed an inline reg. even if you use the 450psi tanks. At least thats the impression I got when I called Delta.
