I was at fireball mt. last week, playing a game of speedball. Being as I don't have my gun back from it's trigger install yet, I was using my rented tippmann. The other team had two kids with MAKO frames on their Spyder TL's. THe other two were also using M98's. My team was down to three, one newbie friend of mine, and this was his frist time paintballing. He stayed in back and eliminated two of our players for us ;). He wasn't moving out of the back most bunker for anything. I had just dived behind a bunker, and nailed my knee into a rock the previous game, and was in no mood or condition to run around. So I leaned against a bunker 15 feet away from an opponent in another bunker. THe other teammate was on the opposite side of the field, emptying his hopper on the kids with Spyders. He managed to get out on of the M98 users, somehow, w/o aiming at him. So, here I was, with a nearly fractured knee, on the left side. My paranoid friend in back doing nothing. And my other friend on the right. My hoppers empty, and, apparently, so is the other guy with the M98 15 ft away. So, I build up the strength, limp-run the 15 feet, and scream surrender. The kid stands up, fires two shots from 2 ft away, and completely misses, and the ref calls him out. He's screaming how he still has 1 ball left, and I have none, and before I know it, I'm taking 15bps in the stomache from the jack***es with the MAKO frames not set on semi. Hurt like a ***** at ten yards away, but my other friend on the right took them out. Pretty lame game :rolleyes:
