Impulse! Without a doubt! Fast, Light, Dependable! Perfect! and under $ 500 too!

Or for that same amount, Kat would prolly sell you one of his kidneys (ie so he can buy another impulse)
Yeah, an Impulse is an awesome front gun.

I agree with the other guy, the Impulse is an excellent front gun with ROF, weight, and reliability, but the best mechanical gun is either the micromag or the one you have. I like the micromag for the threaded body for autococker barrels, the vertical feed option, and the simplicity and reliability of design. It is a better choice if you are a rough and tumble front man, because I personally would not hit or cause impact of any strength on any electro. However if you do play smarter not harder, and can be patient, and place bursts well - the impulse would suit you better. For under 500 that is.

I would say Mag or Impy. Personally, I like the mags better because they are like half as tall as an impy with high rise, and a little lighter too. If you could find a used RT one, you can fire just as fast as the Impy too. I like my micromag RT a lot, but you would have to find used to get it under $500, where as you can get an impy with voodoo full flow from e-paintballoutlet for like $440 brand new.

cocker cocker cocker i use my cocker for speedball and i play front and tape. my cockers smaller then a my freinds mag and just as fast we were at a chronno and he got 10 bps and i got 9 on 4bursts and 10 on 2 so i can keep up with mag and when adrenalines goin your even faster so i say cocker for front.

Impulses are kinda heavy w/vert reg and unmilled stock. I'd say bushy for under 500. Lightest highend gun stock, comes with a vert reg, derlin bolt, and adjustable trigger. Get a medium sized drop, and you're set to go.
Richy is correct. Bushies and defiants are extremely light and easy to snap shoot with. Great great guns.

I will also say Impulse. I am looking to get one when my funds accumulate and I start to play tournies regularly.

Don't you also have to run nitro on an impy. . .? I haven't ownned nor have I shot but I like the bushmaster, it's a cheeper electro and I'v seen a lot of people use them. Just about any electro should let you get a decent rof. .

I think I have the ultimate frontman setup.. I can sure kick some arse with it.
Bushmasters all the way. I just like the ICD quality better than the SP impulse. Too many impys and maxflos go down :(

They can run co2 fine. The maxflo regulator is one of the best possible things to have on a gun running co2. The low operating pressure helps too.
