Does anyone know of any modifications to use on the 98. Such as using a pen spring instead of using the stock sear spring?

just use the pen spring or mechanical pencil spring to lighten the trigger pull not the sear. Those springs wont retract quick enough to pull the sear back and its not made to handle that type of pulling force. Its made more for pressure being applied to it in a downward force and the sear spring is just the opposite (you can tell by looking at the coils theyre diff of course =0)).
