Got a leak.

I have had my impulse for a while and it has never hurt me before, i installed a blade trigger a while ago, but no other upgrades. The problem that i am having now is as soon as i screw in the air, it starts leaking like crazy out of the barrel and feedneck. I thought it was the valve, so i took it out and it looked fine, i don't know what to do now though.

ok when you air up make shure you pressure is set right. pull the bolt all the way back (make shure you bolt is in right so you know your hammer is all the way back too). try that. did you valve have any lube on it when you took it out? maybe it need lubing. did you see if the o ring on the valve stem was damaged?

need more info, pressure?, dwell? you could have blown your noid

If he blew his noid, could it really leak out of the bolt (that's the only way it could leak down the barrel, of course)? If you blow your noid, I think that it would just fail to cycle the bolt at all, and the valve would press the hammer back, closing the valve and preventing this type of leak.

thats not what happened to mine, when i blew the noid. it was similar though, the bolt would get stuck in the forward position and air would could come out the breech, as well as from out of the gun between the tray and the body.
