My friend has a F1 illustrator that he doesnt want, and is basicly willing to give it to me for free. But I was wondering if Im just better off buying a new gun and let him keep it. I dont feel too confortable taking the gun off his hands for free.

Do you guys know of any pros or cons about this gun?
Or any information about this gun?

Thanks,

If I were you I would just go out and by a F4 Illustrator TP or just a F4 Illustrator. They are excellent guns and are fully upgradable.

Well, you could take the F1 for a bit, I mean it IS free right? If you were wondering, the F1 has its own threading, only gun that uses the same kind is the Raptor, so new F4 barrels wont work. What you might wanna do is get the F1 and sell it on eBay and get a new gun using the funds you recieve. Just don't get a Spyder, they are the biggest pain in the *** gun out there. I'd reccommend the F4 or Piranha, the Griffin aint too shabby either.

Any Suggestion what this marker is worth?

It has the following.

Trigger Job
Dial a Bolt
High performance light weight bolt
Upgraded Smart barrell
200 round hopper
Mirage Red Dot scope
M15 handle with stock

Back then he paid for everything new. I think in total he mentioned he payed roughly 900 Canadian total. Which is about roughly 600 U.S. give a take or two.

Gun is in good condition from the looks of it. He only played it a few times, until he got his injury.

I dont know what price to say but if you come up with one I might be interested in buying it. I would like to show my sponsor that gun. He would be surprised.

I know this is late in the thread ..... but, I have an F1 in perfect condition (less than 1k shots) If the gun is usable (or not) I might be willing to buy for parts. From you or your buddy. e_mail me @
sharptapp@aol.com. Illustators may be slow by todays standards .... but they used to RULE! much more reliable than 68 specials or PMI 3.
