I am new here. I just got into paintball, and have a 98 custom, with a few minor mods to it.

Right now, I am looking to upgrade to a better gun....before I start getting crazy with paintballing. I dont have a lot of money, so that is an issue.

Here is the deal, I have a friend who has a 2005 model Smart Parts Impulse. He just got into a minor car accident, and needs money badly to fix his car. He offered to sell this to me for $300. Is it worth it?

2005 model Smart Parts Impulse with the following upgrades.
-Vertical Regulator Impulse, vertical feed
-New Designz Flush Bolt
-New Designz Complete Ram assembly, with a Slik Shot ram shaft, and a medium weight hammer
-New Designz Magnet Pro trigger (this thing RIPS)
-New Designz RIP Valve
-NDZ Tapeworm as well

To spend $300 on a gun is going to hurt at this moment, but I will do it if I have to. What do you all think?

To be honest, I dont know what have these things are, but I want to learn, and plan on sticking around.

Also, please be nice to the newbie.

man its a pretty good set up and he would probly get about 300 or so from ebay or anywhere else but it reallly comes down to you if you want the gun then go and get it if not save for something you really want but u might want to think about just sticking with the tippy there pretty reliable and good gun so the choice is up to you

I have an inclination to say no. A highly upped vision Imp can be found on eBay for $215-250.

Just letting you all know, i got the setup for 200 shipped, and everything came in PERFECT SHAPE. I got a great deal, now all i need is a n2 tank.

you just got a great deal on a good gun. stay in paintball you are gonna love it with that new gun. Make sure you get a good electronic hopper like a halo b or an empire b.

Thats really not bad at all. I wouldnt go for it, but for just getting into paintball thats really a good improvement from a tippman. hope you like it.
