What does Ramping mean??

Just as the title says i just want to know what exactly does ramping mean?

Pull an "x" amount of BPS and the gun will boost it a certain percentage.

For example; ramping on the Ion is set at 9BPS, so when you get to 9BPS the gun will ramp to 17BPS.

I believe its a mode like rebound mode..As soon as you get shooting like 7 bps it will automaticly start shooting 14 or sumthing like that..its basicly a mode on a gun..correct me if im wrong but i have a spyder:P

Not exactly, it can be once you hit i believe 4bps it will ramp to 15, then you have added shots, which is the cheating without getting caught way where if you shoot X it will add X amount of shots so the ramping is subtle, you have full auto where you pull over 4bps and hold the trigger, then there is speed ramping which is where the velocity gets higher. There are tons of ramping styles now adays.

Velocity ramping was around two years ago. Now it's really rare.

And in the PSP, the rule is you pull 5 and your gat shoots 15, but only after you shoot three shots in regular semi-auto. Pretty much, after the first three shots, it's three round burst. FTW.

I never saw anyone do the hold trigger thing in the RL trauma vid. They all did the PSP mode thing, which was weird.

Playing against PSP mode = the most fun thing EVER. Just thought I'd add that in.
