Need a screw

I need a screw to plug one of the macroline fitting holes in my CP Direct Mount asa. What size are they and where can I get one? My hardware store didn't carry any short enough.

Er, I mean, you should just be able to bring your ASA into a hardware store and let them do the work from there.

I told them it was something like 1/8 NPT, but they told me that that size would be way too small for that hole? :confused:

they're idiots. you can't have one measurement for two different sized screws. 1/8-27 NPT is the correct size for a standard macro fitting.

In an ASA? I didn't think it made a difference. The Direct Mount is the rocket shaped one right?

Yeah. See I hold my gun so that my trigger hand rests up the side of the frame, so it touches the side of the asa. Yes this means I can't do that on the side with the macroline fitting, but I can tell that my technique would be much nicer if I could.

Okay, Home Depot doesn't carry that size either. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I really don't feel like buying in bulk from McMaster :rolleyes:

Call CP and be like WTF i need a plug, and have them send one to you. If that doesnt work go to you local hardware store and be like its a 1/8-27 NPT grub screw, then produce the ASA and show them. If they are too incompetent for that then they shouldnt be in business.
