Ok so far this is what i'm planning on ordering for my a-5. So far this marker has been awesome but i want to make it the best so help me out. Anyways thanks alot

(*means ordering)

shocktech relocator bar*
smart parts progressive barrel*
SAW stock
A-5 e-grip*
GTA expansion chamber*
JCS duel trigger*

I beleive that is all. If i'm getting something I shouldn't stop me or tell me some more stuff i should get. i'm thinking about an rva because i use this in scenario and tourneyball (stock for scenario, rva for tourneyball) <what do you think??

I wouldn't reccomend more stuff, I'd say, LESS stuff. I'd get rid of the drop, the stock, the RVA, and the X-Chamber as well as a different barrel.

In lieu of those things, I'd pick up a nice HPA tank(Crossfire) and at least a Custom Products barrel or better.

If you are serious about making this gun into something you can use for tournament play you'll specialize it as such and then just use it for woodsball as well. You can always take a speedball marker into the woods and still play your best, which is quite the opposite of what happens if you bring a specialized woodsball marker onto the airball field.

shocktech relocator bar* Make sure that your ASA will mount on it, when your tank is mounted on your gun you should use the tank as a stock
smart parts progressive barrel* No. If you are going to be playing in tournaments you should get a barrel kit.
SAW stock No
A-5 e-grip* Yes
GTA expansion chamber* No. A big waste of space when compared to a regulator, get a palmers stabalizer
JCS duel trigger* Yes

If you are still using CO2, anti-siphon your tanks. Especialy if you get the regulator. Once you do that your shots will be nice and consistant. However when you are on the speedball field spraying away, after a sustained stream of rapid fire you will expierience some shoot down. If you get to this point, if you can afford to get an HPA tank, get one. Anti-siphoned, regulated CO2 is fine for most woodball use.

Just for the sake of clarity, the Crossfire tanks can be used for Nitrogen or HPA, correct?

Sure. Compressed air (HPA) is 78% nitro.

Back to main question-

shocktech relocator bar* - not absolutely necessary, but, if it would make the gun feel better, you should get it.

smart parts progressive barrel* - Hmmm, it's OK. A CP 1-piece or J&J Pro-1/Ceramic are just as good if not better.

SAW stock - No. Waste of money.

A-5 e-grip* - Yes, yes, yes

GTA expansion chamber* - no, another waste of money. Anti-siphon your tanks or buy an HPA tank.

JCS duel trigger* - Yes, yes, yes. Best trigger for e-grip.

Of course, but I wasn't sure if the N2 was pure like in the aircraft industry (I'm prior Navy, and our tires were inflated with pure N2), or just regular old HPA, which isn't N2 in my mind. I guess it's just semantics that has me confused...

Thanks for the clarity though!

Heres my list of upgrades for you----
Barrel-JJ Ceramic, Flatline, CP 1 piece, etc..
Firepower-RT,Egrip,or Ebolt if you can do it.

alright thanks alot i think i will get:
e-grip
progressive or something like that
jcs duel trigger
anti siphon tanks
shocktech relocator bar

if i buy this stuff with shipping it'll cost me $225.62 so i'm thinking about waiting on the bar that would put me back $181.38 does that sound like a pretty fair price (that is with a progressive barrel)

I think that is it it is about all i can afford thanks alot and if you have anything else write it down

Sounds good. Thats all you need for a long time. But if you want a cheaper barrel then I would suggest a JJ Ceramic 14''. Mine works like a charm.
