I know that there is no difference in barrel accuracy due to length. 12 inches and 14 inches have the same accuracy. But I was wondering if that apply's to barrels that are 10 inches or shorter? I am going to get an automag soon, and I would like a 10 inch barrel to keep it small and compact. Would a 10 inch have any down sides?
Thanks

so the general theory is that you need 6-8" unported for exceleration,if you have that covered, dont worry about it
i havent seen any differences in my barrel lengths

There is a really good barrel on this page that is 8 inches long it is the Equation Design Bizerk Barrel. It is 70$ with 3 inserts of your choice if u get it from the company. They say that it can keep up with a boomy...........so I would go for it. The only place I have found this barrel is on the Manufacturer Website that u can link to off of the review page. Hope this helps u out.
