which is better - impy or cocker?

im a front player and im looking for my next gun. the two guns i have chosen - the autococker and the impulse - are relatively the same price (the ones ive been looking at). my question is: which gun would be better for me?

Try them both out for a few games if you can.

Yeah, that's the nice thing about paintball - as long as the gun chronos at 300 or less, they all shoot about the same distance if they had the same barrel on them. The main difference in the higherend guns aka Angel is ROF, so I say try shooting them both, and pick the one that feels good to you (or in my case, is cheaper.)

Both are great markers, but you should try both and then make a decision.

That would be the politically correct way to answer your question. Here's my opinion: Get the Impulse. It comes with a great reg and a decent stock barrel, its electronic, vert feed, fast, reliable, easy to clean, and runs on Co2. My suggestion for upgrades would be a new barrel (freak or AA kit) and nitro.

Cockers also come with a reg (actually 2! :D ) but it's not as good. However, just like the impy, it can function perfectly on CO2.

I just got my imp in and love it. They have the best reg on the markey on them "maxflow". Very Very fast, accurate but maybe not as accurate as a cocker, and fairly reliable from what i hear. I havent had a problem yet (its a week old) but yeah.... if you want speed and consistancy go with the imp, accuracy and consistancy go with the cocker. Both are great guns.
