Well, the most common paintball bore size is .689. Take in mind that weather will alter the bore size. I would recommend the .691 bore barrel because in hot weather, the ball will swell up and become larger. A smaller bore will squeeze the ball till it pops because of too small of barrel, with a .691. If you play in cold weather, get the .689. A too larger of bore size will be too loose for the ball and lose it's accuracy. When the cold weather shrink the ball, the .689 will be perfect for a smaller ball. It depends on what you play in to get the recommended barrel bore size.

I would get the .689, but if you got the Switch Kit I would get the .691 cause you can get different backs.

Wait, hot weather shrinks the bore size, mabye thats why I was breaking a fair amount when I was using premiums with a .689 on a really hot day. What do think?

NO, hot weather always makes something bigger. Your barrel itself must jave had a problem or scratch in itthat was causing them to beak. PMI Premiums aren't known to just break.

Probably not, but you might lose a teeny bit of efficiency.
I would go with .689. I used a .689 CP for quite some time and NEVER had ball break problems - even with the cheap paint I always used with it.

Not that much. If a barrel bore is too larger fore the ball and the ball can just roll out the barrel, then you loose efficiency when you shoot because it is using more than you need, and you want that air for more shots.
If a ball is too large or a barrel, you can lose efficiency too. Because the ball is too small, the gun has to use more air to force it out of the barrel, and sometimes they burst because they are too big.
To get the best efficiency, you need a ball that can be blown out. By this it mean: it doesn't roll out, or get stuck with all you blow power. It should be able to be blown at least 30 feet with a good puff of air. If the ball never come out, it is too big, if you don't even have to blow when you drop it, it is too small.
