I have recently bought a "Rebel" with a bottom line. I dont know what kind of CO2 tank to get. I have heard if u get a heavy one on the "rebel" it can break the grip. Which should I get? a 9 oz. or a 12 oz. Please help me!

I use a 20oz. CO2 tank on my rebel. It hasn't affected my grip at all. It never came loose...Though it can be a little heavy at first, you will get used to it very quickly.

BTW...You're thinking of the Spyder Compact 2000's grip frame...That one's pure plastic..a 20oz. will rip it off after a while.

I have a 20onz for my Rebel X, and what happened to me was that the threads of the little aluminium piece between the grip and the drop forward worn out, the screws were too short and the tank to heavy, I had to put longer steel ones with nuts, no prob since then. I think a 16onz will be nice, they are short and you can get a good fill out of it, though I will put the on/off smart parts valve to the tank, helps the filling of the tank, I used to fill a friends 16onz and with the pin valve the sucker just got 10-11onz after it was in the refrigerator. Now with the on/off I easily fill it at 15onz. I find the cromoly tanks a little too heavy and I will get a 16onz aluminium, balances better than a 20onz, and they are shorter than all the rest, so you can have to gun closer to your body.
I recommed getting an X-chamber, if not your marker can turn into a snow machine while on rapid fire. I have the X-core from psychoballistics, best result so far and the cheapest. I got everything at countypaintball.com if it helps you. Try not to change the valve yourself take it to someone who knows and has the tools, ask them to use red loctite instead of teflon tape. I think you can get the 16onz from countypaintball and the valve and he will install it for u.
