This might be a dumb question, but I was just curious.

Ok, thanks. 2 more questions:

1. Does the Response Trigger require batteries?
2. Can you turn semi-auto fire on with a response trigger, or is it stuck on response "mode"?

Thanks,
GE

No.

Yes, all you have to do is pull the trigger all of the way instead of sweet spotting it. If you want response completely "off" you'd either have to close the flow control to the piston all of the way, or there is a screw that you can put in the flow control to shut the flow off for tourney use etc. Either way it kind of defeats the purpose of having an RT.

In my opinion the E-grip is a superior system, offering more options, as well as tournament legal semi. The battery is not the huge liability that some people can make it out to be. Just have a couple extras in your kit, and check/change the one in the gun out fairly regularly, problem solved.
