Ok I have recieved several e-mails and Walt and Craig has had several calls from people wondering if they could get an upgraded Impulse, that slightly more stylish, well here it goes the Rat Jr. or is that a Mouse? If you buy 2 would you have Mice? Ok Im dumb but here are the stats. You get a Smart Parts Progressive Barrel, VFF, Vertical Max-Flo Regulator, Blade Trigger (just call and ask Walt for the Insane Trigger Job) Voodoo Delrin Bolt, Rat Snout, and Rat Ear. These can only be found at www.e-paintballoutlet.com or call Walt or Craig (FOM) at (810)245-1914. So without further Adieu

Ok so it looks just like a normal impulse from the picture, sure you might some "insane" milling as some would call it,but it just looks plano jano. You could have at least added a vission kit to it. Yeah it has a blade trigger, and maybe even a trigger job but taht can all be owned for less then that.

(please don't let this discourage you from buying this product I'm sure it's great...maybe over priced?)http://www.tippmann.com/main/main.asp

Just wanted to try a picture out...^^

If you want milling get either The Cave Rat, Weir Rat or Bluegrass Rat, You get choice of Bolt(Voodoo, New Designz, Etc..), trigger(Blade New Designz,Werm, Etc..), Size of Freak Insert, SP sticky Grips(Freak, SP, and choice of Color) VFF, Freak Back, and Matching Anno with Vertical Max-flo.
And try to find that cheaper. Here is the Wier Rat and Cave Rat, also available are the Bluegrass Rat, and Soon the ROS (Rat On Speed) and the Moonlight Rat. They did this because people wanted an upgraded version of the Imp but didnt have the money for the full version of the Rat. People requested it and there it is, If you know anything about www.e-paintballoutlet.com you know they are not overpriced.

It's a good thing, for folk who want more than the Custom Impy, but don't want to spend the $$ for a true Rat.

Although I'm curious, don't y'all also have something called a Ratdog, which is a Custom Impy with the Rat body?

johnnyrotten

SHHhhh that might happen in the near future, but Ratdogs is the name of our Team. NPPL AM B

wow, thats a lot of rats. this is cool that u guys are doing different versions for different prices. I probably would have bought one of your Ratpulses if i hadn't already bought my Ultimate package. Damn, and those things look so tight. Will you be offering the milled body alone? cause i might want one in the near future. and would you be able to have it fade anodized?

For those that don't like the Rat look, I understand, have have ho problem with your saying so. In fact I don't mind getting suggestions at all-- we even try to accomendate may of them.

My question goes more to some that have said its "over priced". This always bothers me, because we try very hard to work on a low margin do give fokes the best possible bang for the buck.

Soo...

We start with a Vertical reg Impulse--- $450
Add VooDoo bolt --- $36
Add full flow --- $43
Add blade trigger --- $25
Add extended valve cap --- $36
Add Feed tube --- $25

and I get $615 So by buying it as a "package" you save $15 off what I belive is already very low prices.

The only way i woulnd consider it "expensive" is if you didn't want the Valve cap and feed-- but then you wouldn't be getting anthing the looked different from a stock Impulse.

I guess time will tell if anyone wants the rat pup <G>

well, personally, i think this idea is an awesome one. I dont know about everyone here, but i can sure say its nice to give people an awesome impulse like that for such a low price. In fact, if i hadn't already bought an impulse from e-paintballoutlet, id buy this one, cause it has exactly what i want. Thanks FOM and crew for everything. I can truly say im glad that there are people like you in the paintball buisness.

first off IM NOT COMPLAINING!!
I would say yes, its horribly expensive. Not overpriced, just way out of my price range. I save up for almost a year to afford my first semi, a Stingray. I managed to get a cocker about 2 years later, but I had to save 2 summers of mowing and other odd jobs to get that, and it was used. I traded that for my old impy, and that guy had ruined it, so I sold it for parts and bought a new used one, my Impy2881. So yes, its very expensive. Just not overpriced (btw, im only 12)

the feed tube gives you a nice ball stack and keeps hopper in place pretty good i just got to play with my rat jr today after adjusting the dwell it was flawless (after adjusting dwell) no chops now i need a faster loader. well the I-frame hum it depends what you play i think that vision would help

Not to be rude, but do you really expect someone to say "Yeah, you're on a website I'm on, so heres 20% off"

I'm willing to bet they sold 95% of all their Rats online, they just cant give out deals...

Its not 20%, its $20, and if you check around our prices are lower than almost everyone, that should tell you how much our mark up is, we dont make very much, but we do have to make a living like everyone else

Incube, listen to johnny he isn't lying when he sais they have the cheapest prices around. They are very unselfish people and would be out of business very quickly if they were selling stuff for 20% off. I would recomend you getting the jr or a normal impulse.

I know it was 20%, I was just making an example.

I've heard rumors on what they make on these guns, and while I'm not gonna say what I heard because A, thats their business, and B, its just a rumor, they dont make much per gun. These really are sweet deals, Im shelling out the cash for a ROS as soon as they come off the truck. Johnny's gonna have to move me aside to open the shop up that day, I'll be waitin'

Oh I wasnt talking directly to you Tom, but just stating that for those who dont know us personally. And you will get first pick on any ROS we have, I will make sure of that, gotta take care of our practice buddies, ya know. You guys may see me and Ppro exchange insults, but in truth, him and his team are great guys that we met at a tourney in Ohio and our teams just became friends and hopefully will be practicing alot together this year. We are realatively on the same skill level, but we are trying to steal Ppro to our team as we speak, I didnt tell him about our new sponsorship which might convince him, if not then nothing will, because it would convince ALMOST anyone.

i bought a rat from the king rat johnny rotten on friday, it showed up on monday...it was greased and ready to go, just gas it and shoot...i played custers last stand with a tribe of 12 year old pros. the gun was worth another 5 minutes of life before i was tatooed by spyders and tippys....forget that these guns are great and look good, it is worth every dime to have a good airsmith advise you on set up and be able to send back for upgrades or advice. also dont forget that in america people are entitled to a profit for their work,,they have bills to pay.....these are great guns, get the freak, buy it now, buy one in a different color for every day of the week,,,if you dont have money..rob a bank, or on the internet...fat dad who needs to shoot fast...

When we were at Sky Ball, one of the big Dealers from Canada wanted to buy rats from us Wholesale. We broght a couple of Rats to his boot ans Instanly drew a large group.

Several fokes wantede to buy thse gun right then an there., We had brought htem over for customers that said they were going to hook up with us there.

At any Rate we left them at the booth for the test of the day.

There was one guys that spend his WHOLE AFTERNOON waiting for one of us to come back so he coulf make another pitch.

Hearing this, Walt made a deal with the deaer and the dealer sold the Rat to the waiting fan. We were not involved in the final sale, But I have heard that it was about $1500 CD

Now that has to be "Rat Love"

I think having the Rat Jr. as an option is an excellent ideal and I think alot of people who want the performance of the rat without having to pay for its beauty will appreciate this.

I myself just bought a Bluegrass Rat Impulse from e-paintball yesterday, and that was after alot of debating on which Impulse I thought I should get. In fact I called them up once that very same day to ask questions and was thinking about getting a regular green Impulse and then just getting all the mods I wanted on it. Also I just want to say these guys are excellent to deal with and very helpful and understanding.

Anyhow, luckily I didn't have my credit card on me at the moment so I didn't make an impulse purchase (no pun intended). So I started totaling up the mods I wanted versus the mods on the Rat Impulse and they were already totaling the price of the Rat and also I get a start on the freak barrel system, because the Freak with one insert is included on the Rat.

So to sum all of what I said in the top three paragraphs. E-paintball is an excellent company to deal with and are very customer orientated. Also, they give you alot of features on there guns for a minimal amount of cabbage and I also don't even see how they are making money selling there Rats so cheap. And the best thing about e-paintball is that they continue to look for new ways to make there customers happy and try to please everybody. And no I was not paid to say this.

chynzexguy
03-12-2002, 03:12 PM
are there serial numbers on these greater than 5000?

The Legend
03-12-2002, 03:23 PM
Yes and No.

First, RAT's have their own serial number, they dont start off where SP made the last stock impy. They were supposed to say, for example, RAT00001, RAT00002, etc. Some do (Weirs, I think). However, some dork at SP messed up on the Cave's and Bluegrass and put MI instead of RAT on them. The rat JR all have stock Impy bodies. And knowing how many Impulses E-Paintballoutlet sells, these are the newest possible.

The RAT guns have all the latest and greatest, a few even sport items that aren't even on stock Impulses from the factory (The all american hammer for example).

If you are worried about them not being up to date, don't be. These have the newest parts available.

chynzexguy
03-12-2002, 03:26 PM
thanks legend, but i thought only Rats come with serial numbers that start out as RAT. Do Rat Jr's serial numbers start with RAT also?

So the Rat Jr's will have the latest parts to date also?

All of our stock Imps are at serial number 12400 range, never fear on getting a Rat though, they may not have high serial numbers, but they will be the latest from SP. Everyone that has a pre-order for a stock IMP just got shipped today, we got in 30 Impulses finally.

Heres the great news: ROS and our Moonlights will be in this week and so will more Rats, Pictures will be available soon as they come in, I do not have prices yet, but if you are interested, send me a PM, I will not answer it till I get the final price, make the heading "ROS price"

Also I want to welcome Crash into the RatDogs Team, We now have one RatDog 10 man Team as well as 2 - 5 man teams, we will be called RatDogs Blue, They will be RatDogs Grey, our 10 -man Team will wear Red SP jerseys. We couldnt have asked for a better team to join us, and our combined skills should make us a force to be reckoned with at NPPL events. Coming into the RatDogs we have THE LEGEND, Steve, Bobby, Jason, and Joe, all are excellent players and together we can only get better.
