how many shots can a shocker get off of a 88/4500? and also...i can also use co2 with the shocker and get just as good consistency and performance right? and one more question.because it comes with the maxflow.....can i just get a preset tank and just screw it in, and regulate the air with the maxflow reg?

Ok: A regualar screw-in nitro will not work. The pin gets pushed too soon. I've heard to drop in an o-ring then screw it in. I just dumped the CA that came w/ the gun and got a DZ II w/ CA adapter. You'll need a co2 tank w/ an on-off to use the stock CA.
Efficancy: 20oz co2=900 shots
68/3000=400-600 shots
88/4500=probally at least 1000
Performance: Hard to tell so far. I've used my nitro more than my co2 with mine. It seems the nitro has a faster recharge. CO2 will mean you'll have to clean the gun more often.

I tried a bunch of stuff. Stock----Eclipse vert reg mount (makes it look like a foregrip)---- now horizontal tucked beside the barrel.
Since the DZ CA thing has a knob it can work as your on off.
I don't use a foregrip, I shoot w/ my left hand and my right goes low holding the CA adapter. Even when I had the reg as a grip I didn't touch it. Mine looks alot like Nemissis's, but I have the swivle macro on the reg and CA.
The verticle reg mounts can be expensive! My plain Eclipse one was $60! The pipe I use now to connect it $1.50+tax.
I even bought a Gadget Grip to use whe I run remote. I'll probally NEVER use it. I haven't even put it on.
Overall, it depends on your "style." Where do you usually put your off hand to steady the gun?
I like my look. The reg in the front makes it look like a Super Autococker.
Do you have a remote hose? Try that. Use the stock gun and screw in the remote adapter. I did it and put my off hand right in front of the trigger guard, like a long barreled pistol. Made for a nice light gun.

well....on my m98 wit a drop forward......i hold the front of my tank....i cup it....and i fire with my right. on my friends shocker...its got a drop on it...and i hold the grip, kinda rest the 114 on my shoulder, and fire with my right hand. my right arm when firing looks like a Z when im pointing <---- that way.

I understand your "Z" grip. If you go with the reg mounted as a foregrip it MAY work for you. Using my Eclipse reg mount, the reg was always loose. The acutal SP one might be better.
If you mount the reg under the barrel, you'll need a foregrip. I have a brand new Gadget Grip, and I'll probally never use it. It is WAY heavy! Just the grip weighs about as much as two full cans of soda! I want to cut the weight down on my Shocker. A goood point, once you put it on it'll never go anywhere I bet.
(I didn't know how much it weighed b/c I bought it off the internet :)
