Ramping – v. Where the person pulls the trigger a certain amount of times and the gun adds shots. For example, say the gun is set to ramp 50% at 12 bps, when you walk 12 bps with your fingers (no added help from the gun) the gun will add 6 extra bps, so you will be shooting 18 bps instead of 12.
Trigger bounce
--Mechanical-The recoil from a marker can be enough, when held right, is enough to move the trigger and trip the micro-switch.
--Electronic-A markers board is overly sensitive or and counts things as more than one pull, resulting in more shots per one pull.

Ramping - Cheater mode (at least in 90% of tournaments and normal games)
Bounce - Sometimes accidental cheater mode
Aero277 made a mistake - There are no micro switches in mechanical markers, that would require batteries or some power source, and it wouldn't be mechanical anymore. I think he means sear, not micro-switch.

lotten454, for the cost of two 20oz A/S CO2 tanks, you can probably get a Pure Energy 48/3000 HPA tank from www.actionvillage.com.

Wrong. Mechanical bounce is just the term used to describe the kick of the gun causing the trigger to be tripped more than once per shot. It has nothing to do with the type of gun.

Theres no such thing as a stupid question, just those that require less intelligence than others.

eforcegtid00d made a mistake - Mechanical bounce refers to the action of a trigger physically tripping the microswitch twice. It doesn't mean that it happens in mechanical markers, it means that the kick physically makes the trigger return twice instead of once. It happens in electronic markers.
and as Murderdoll said "/thread."
