If you want a tippmann just go ahead and get the pro. It's a great deal and great gun.

I'd get a jj ceramic, lapco(any lapco), or like pballer279 said a cp 1 piece. For a hopper I'd go ahead and get a cyclone. No chops no batteries and low maintenance. It's a great hopper. If you want something other than a cyclone go for a ricochet apache, reloader, or revvy. Don't get a tsa.

You can go with a Custom Pro E, which has a egrip. Then a new barrel like a JJ ceramic, Progressive, Apex, etc. And for your hopper I would suggest the cyclone feed or an eggy 2.

well said john sullivan. i really like the J&J ceramic barrels($30ish?) because they are just so cheap and so quiet and effective. lapco bigshots are nice too($40-50). for a hopper id get an empire reloader($50) or a eggy($70?). depending on your budget both setups will preform about the same.

The ION doesn't need nitro. I'm happily running anti-siphoned CO2 on my ION.
Either get this: ION, Egg2, J&J Ceramic or Pro-1/CP 1-piece; Tippmann A-5/Custom Pro, Cyclone/Egg2(for the pro), 11.5" ACI Zero Gravity(A-5), Cp 1-piece/J&J Pro-1 or Ceramic(Pro).

Yes. Anti-Siphoned Co2 or Co2 is alright for the Ion. A/S'd Co2 is only for use incold weather. A/S'd Co2 in warm or hot weather is useless, so id you do live in a colder state, get the A/S Tube, if you live in the warmer stated, just save the money and gert the regular Co2.

With Co2 on most electros, you can only get up to around 14 or 15 bps before marker freeze up occurs. Your gun will be releasing Co2 so fast that the bolt, regulator, and orings start to freeze, crack the o rings, and literally, stop the marker's air flow, although 15 max bps should be plenty fast, and usually the averege for most human fingers, and new people to electros

Wrong:tdown:

An anti-siphon is for keeping liquid CO2 out of your gun. Liquid CO2 is not a good thing no matter what weather you are playing in.

Ok, smart guy...why is it useful if in hot weather as compared to regular Co2? In hot weather, Co2 stays a gas, not useful if it A/S'd, because A/S Tubes only block the liquid Co2 from getting into your gun, and in hot weather, it never goes to liquid. In cold weather, it is useful, because in colder weather, below 40*, it turns into liquid, so then it is useful. So yes, saving money, when in different weather conditions, is worth thinking about. So why waist money, if in warm weather, on something you will never need or use in warmer weather?

paintballer279, the first thing you need to understand is that CO2 does not stay a gas in hot weather. Second is that I don't have that patients to explain a bunch of gas laws to you. Fortunately I don't have to. I can simply direct your attention to the sticky where it has been laid out in plain English.
