Is a drop forward nessasary for a HPA tank?

it al really depends on how you feel comfortable. If you put the HPA on your gun and you think the gun is sticking out from you too much, get a drop forward. Drop forward are a comfort factor, although I have heard they help with balance and there for accuracy.

I didn't like the tank sticking out from behind my M98, so I bought a drop forward.

I feel so much more comfortable with the tank low. But its up to you to decide.
