Is the Spyder 2000 a good gun for an intermediate player? And what possible upgrades are there for it? Such as new barrels, x-chambers, bolts, etc.? Thanx!!

The spyder 2000 can be upgraded a hellofalot but it isnt a very strong intermidiate gun out of the box.

Spyders are very upgradeable. A lot of barrels to choose from and easy to customize. A piranha(basically the same accept internally) will also generally accept all spyder upgrades externally as well.

I think you should consider buying a spyder compact 2000 instead of a spyder 2000. Out of the box, you will have better upgradability because of the vertical adapter (spyder 2K does not have a vertical adapter). The spyder 2K also have a regulator, but he sucks. So you better get the compact and buy a better regulator like palmer stabilisator. For all the rest, both guns are the same, except that the spyder 2K is rear cocking (but you can change you bolt on the compact, so he will become rear cocking). You have the choice of a lot of barrels (lapco bigshot seems to really be a winner), x-chamber (don't get one, get a regulator instead), valves, bolts etc.
