The rebel is great. I love it...I probably would use it with a lower-end paintball tourney at your local field. (Just your field's events, i'm not sure about national tourneys)

The barrel is kinda loud but if you get a new barrel it will take care of that. My Rebel has hardly broken paint maybe 5 out of 2000 rounds have broken in my gun. I would go with the Rebel.

I haven't broken many paintballs...The only time I have broken a paintball is when I haven't had my hopper attached to my elbow all the way and the paintballs kinda got jammed in the elbow every 100 shots or so...It's nothing severe. Barrel breaks: 1 out of about 1500...

I don't really pay attention much to the noise level of the rebel. I guess it's ok, but a new barrel will quiet it down some.

The Rebel is awesome i love it. I am selling mine for 45 bucks or best off and if you want it email me at hylord@hotmail.com i am giving you a great deal because it comes with a 14' 32* Nyte Stikk barrel which is a 40 dollar value. the gun itself is worth 70 and it was voted #1 of 2000 bye pci. The total value of my offer is over 120 bucks!!! but i am selling for 45$ that means you will save over 70 dollars buy buying my gun. There is nothing wrong with it. I just got a hand me down from my brother so i wanna start playting with that to make him feel good. I am giving you probally the best offer you can find if you plan on buying a rebel. My type is a Rebel Vertical. If you are interested email me. Thanks and trust me its the best offer you will get.

My Rebel has only broken paint when I buy the really cheap stuff "Galyans brand" If I use Marbelizers then I don't brake any paint. I just replaced the spring in my gun and now it kicks a**.

Get a Rebel if you are a beginner. I have a brand new BE Raptor LTD that I have't used once becuase I enjoy my Rebel so much.

If u ask me between the Spyder and Rebel its really your choice... Both are great begginer guns and can be upgraded...I have used both and they are both equally good.
