The Shocker is obviously better than the Ion...

Get a Shocker. The Nerves are just overpriced Impy's. They are heavier, and pretty much milled bricks. Nerve's arent as upgradeable as the Shockers either. See the links that Equipmentcourts listed too...

Go with what fits your situation

a) you are a heavy rec player with lots of cash about-shocker,nerve,ion
b)you want to be able to hit people with your gun-nerve
c) you compete in lower tournaments-nerve,shocker,ion
d you compete in higher tournaments-nerve,shocker or upped ion
e)you do not want to look like a idiot-shocker or ion
