I would tend to go with the Redz over the SP. With SP you are paying for the name on some of there stuff.

stick over the teardrp, sure teardrops are quiet, but also a pain in the but to clean, and when u break a ball in it your screwed all day. Same way with TD front freak kits. Ive owned 2, plus used a teardrop barrel on my old spyder so i know.
Also suggest checking out a J&J ceramic, or Evil driver.

A J&J ceramic and CP 1 or 2 piece would be your best bet

I assume he's talking about the single Pepperstick barrel as opposed to the kit, which can be bought for $40ish on countypaintball. I actually have it and even though it didn't have an o-ring and it was wobbly, it shot great, I would recommend it over the teardrop.

actually, the driver does sound like a good idea...i hadnt thought about it really...ive heard they are a little loud but pretty accurate

drivers are really good barrels for a 1pc. Yeah they are loud though, but doesn't matter. sometimes loudness is intimidating, or just kool :P
When i had one of my freaks, i actually played just using a back, wasn't accurate only shot like 40 ft and all over the place, and was really loud but it was fun :P

Dont get a Progressive. You best bet would be either a CP 1 peice or a J&J Ceramic. You can get both of them for around $35 new/shipped it you look around.

cps and ceramics aren't the best, but their still good.

Out of those two, hands down the redz. Others to consider are a CP onepiece and a J&J ceramic.

???? Progressives and Teardrops are great barrels...Made by the best barrel company. I have been using them for 2 years. For under $50 there are alot of barrels.... but I will stay with my Teardrop! Try one...you will like them ;)

I've let this go on but it's just turning into a typical VS thread.
